What the category is, and is not
Presence is not identity onboarding, background checking, facial recognition on its own, post-event deepfake detection, another meeting-security tool, or a general fraud-scoring API.
It is a check placed at the point where trust becomes irreversible, combining device proof, presence proof and authority proof into a single verdict with a signed record.
The customer-facing object is not a score. It is a policy-governed verdict with disclosed evidence — probabilistic signals are used internally, but what you act on is a decision, and what you keep is a record.
